Class de Ichiban no Kanojo, Jitsu wa Bocchi no Ore no Kanojo desu began as a web novel on Kakuyomu under the title Class de Bocchi no Ore no Kanojo wa Top Caste desu (クラスでボッチの俺の彼女はトップカーストです) on November 12, 2018, where it won a Special Prize in the Love Comedy Division of the 4th Kakuyomu Web Shousetsu Contest.
