Hikaru Kajikawa, who spent his days aimlessly, suddenly wakes up in a strange forest in another world. However, he possesses no skills or special abilities and is attacked by dangerous monsters. With the help of Almatina, a knight in training, he manages to reach a human village. However, both he and Alma have rather disreputable "jobs", and they become the target of ridicule from other adventurers. Nevertheless, Hikaru, who has since learned to manipulate his magical powers, evolves alongside Alma in an unorthodox way.
